Huge Increase In 5 Star Medicare Advantage Plans In 2022

Rumors are running wild about a HUGE increase in available 5 Star Medicare Advantage plans for 2022. Ugh just what we need, more year round enrollment. I hope they tighten the requirements to lower them again.

I feel that this is a great thing for both agents and consumers. Additionally, the additional $$ they will receive (the carriers) will be able to be plowed back into benefits for the following plan year for benefit stability and enhancements. Even if they don't retain a 5 Star Rating for 2023, the members enrolled into that plan would likely have an incredibly strong retention rate which is key to long term growth for Agents.
