Has anyone ever built a book of business off of AOR

Im sure somehow has. However you might find them unlikely to admit it.

You need to be careful with AORs as you are in many instances assuming that the policy was created correctly to begin with. I believe there is much more E&O risk to these than most agency owners know of.

Thanks!
So ..if I am doing a certain number of AOR's...I should let my E&O carrier know or something?
when you mentioned ..that making sure the policy was created correctly..I am always concerned as a fairly newby that I am not putting a policy together correctly. Sometime I feel like if I do put the policy together, and make sure coverages are good enough..and that they have ok deductibles..I should be good..I feel like I am questioning myself. Are there any rules of thumb when dealing with a typical home and auto quote/ policy?
